I had been wanting to go for a long time and finally made it out. Staff is super nice and have thought about the people that wait for their food. Its more than food but an experience. The food is good though too!
Worth the drive from Austin in the early morning hours. The atmosphere while waiting is fun. The free bar is a nice touch, helps the time go by quickly. The food is phenomenal. Brisket is a must get as are the pork steaks. I would argue the pork steaks are better the second day.

I guess part of the popularity in making it scarce. Got there about 830, waited in line 2 plus hours, only to go into a little room with one woman cutting. Super nice, but come on. That being said, it ranked number one on my BBQ tour, which include Brenham, Lockhart, and Luling. Best of the best
